Great
Tower is situated close to the east shore of Lake Windermere,
midway between Bowness and Newby Bridge. The 250 acres of
heavily wooded and rocky terrain are an ideal base for
adventurous activities, environmental or field studies, group
development exercises and many other events.
The highest point gives extensive panoramic view of the Lake
District and the eastern hills of the Yorkshire Dales while the
woods support a wide variety of Flora and Fauna.
