Cartmel contains a large day/dining room, a large, well-equipped kitchen, a Leader's Lounge, 36beds made up of 4 x 6 bunks, 2 x 4 bunks and 2 x 2 bunks, male & female showers & toilets. Includes crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils. The building is centrally heated & double-glazed. A coin operated drying machine and public telephone are also close by.

Cartmel Lodge is our largest self-contained building sleeping 36
people and is one of the three Scandinavian style chalets making up
"Venture Forth Base" For large groups, 2 or 3 of the Venture Forth
buildings may be booked to accommodate larger parties and Cartmel
Lodge has a large enough kitchen to cope with up to 70 or 80 people
if required.
