There are currently two permanent
courses laid out on Great Tower; One for the younger novice is
called the "Cub Course" and covers an area in the immediate vicinity
of Camp Centre. The other covers the whole 250 acres of Great Tower
and can be broken down into smaller progressive courses. Details of all of these are available on the orienteering display on-site. Maps are available on sale in the shop and reception at £1.00 per map complete with control card. A limited stock of compasses may be borrowed from reception.
