Directions:
Leave the M6 at junction 36 (Signposted Barrow, Kendal & South Lakes) and follow the signposts for the A590 (Signposted to Barrow) to Newby Bridge (Approx 15 miles).
As you approach Newby Bridge, turn right at the roundabout along the A592 to Windermere and Bowness.
Proceed along the road for about 3 and a half miles then fork right along a minor road signposted "Great Tower Scout Camp" (Also Park Cliffe Commercial Camp Site) The main entrance is half a mile up the road on the left-hand side between the two tall wooden towers.
